Powell Gilbert LLP announces that it has expanded its first-rate team of IP litigators with the appointment of Theo Cooper as an Associate.
 
Theo has experience working on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters including patent litigation in the life sciences and telecommunications sectors, as well as trade mark disputes and providing regulatory advice. He joins the firm from Bird & Bird, where he trained and qualified as a lawyer.
 
Theo holds a degree in Neuroscience from University College London and will immediately be utilising his technical background as part of his practice at Powell Gilbert.
 
Theo’s arrival marks the third lateral hire the firm has made so far in 2021, following the hires of fellow Associates Daniel Down in January, and Jennifer O'Kane in March, further enhancing Powell Gilbert’s market-leading team of IP specialists.
