Chambers describes the partners as follows:

Penny Gilbert is a highly-esteemed patent litigator with a scientific background in life sciences. A number of sources cite her "impressive" handling of large, complex cases in the sector.

Tim Powell excels at patent litigation, often co-ordinating business-critical cases across multiple jurisdictions. He is best known for his work in the pharmaceuticals and biotech fields

Zoë Butler advises clients on all IP rights although she is best known for litigating sophisticated patent cases in electronics and life sciences. She was prominent in the firm's successful defence of BSN Medical in a patent infringement claim brought by Mölnlycke Health Care regarding wound dressings.

Simon Ayrton has an admirably broad IP litigation practice which takes in patents, trade marks, designs and confidential information cases. He tends to represent clients in life sciences, electronics and FMCG.

Alex Wilson acts for clients in electronics, energy, life sciences and chemicals in multi-jurisdictional patent disputes. His command of French and German is much appreciated by his European clients.
