The final of the moot competition was held at Pembroke College on 17-19 March, with a total of 24 teams from Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Germany, India, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States and the United Kingdom competing. This year’s problem raised issues of copyright and trade mark law in a question relating to “ambush marketing”. Congratulations to all of the finalists and to the winning team from the University of Ottawa who prevailed in the grand final before a panel comprised of Lord Justice Kitchin, Lord Justice Floyd and Mr Justice Birss.
