IAM 1000: The World's Leading Patent Practitioners

Our lawyers are experienced in all areas of IP, having been involved in cases across a wide range of technologies and industries.

Whilst clearly focused on litigation and dispute resolution we also offer counselling and advice on IP issues generally, including freedom to operate and IP due diligence, FRAND issues, lifecycle management, anti-counterfeiting and parallel import strategies.

We are highly experienced in litigation but also look for the option of Alternative Dispute Resolution where appropriate. Our team includes a qualified mediator and many of us have represented clients in arbitration proceedings relating to disputed technology contracts. If court proceedings are unavoidable, we can offer solicitor advocacy services as appropriate to the case.

Although London-based, we frequently work on international matters. Many of our cases have multi-jurisdictional aspects and we are used to working in, and often co-ordinating, multi-national teams. We have a wealth of contacts with other law firms and individuals who also specialise in IP. We are able to recommend firms and individuals with the most relevant expertise to assist with issues abroad. Equally we are happy to work alongside our clients’ chosen firms to achieve effective and consistent management of IP issues.
