Sidd advises on all aspects of contentious intellectual property law, with a particular focus on multi-jurisdictional patent litigation for clients in the life sciences and technology sectors. He has an academic and research background in immunology, and has gained in house experience during secondments in the biotechnology and broadcasting industries.


As well as a number of patent trials in front of the UK High Court - including high profile trials in the pharmaceutical and telecommunications sectors - Sidd has experience of trade mark and copyright litigation, European Patent Office actions and the handling of patent actions in other jurisdictions. Sidd also advises on freedom to operate, regulatory issues and matters of confidential information.


Prior to joining Powell Gilbert in 2012, Sidd practised as a solicitor at Olswang LLP.
