Donald has experience in assisting clients on a range of IP matters.

He has a technical background in chemical engineering and has assisted in IP disputes before the UK Patent Office, the High Court, the Court of Appeal and OHIM in fields as diverse as

medical devices, GMcrops, engineering, pharmaceuticals and the licensing of biomedical products and computer games.

Donald also has experience of regulatory matters and parallel importation claims involving electronics and luxury goods.

Prior to joining Powell Gilbert Donald trained as a solicitor at Taylor Wessing.
