Alex has advised clients on a range of contentious and noncontentious matters across the full range of IP rights. He has experience of patent litigation relating to medical devices, pharmaceuticals and high-street consumer goods. Other contentious work has included acting for a claimant

before the High Court and Court of Appeal in litigation involving a novel point of design law and advising various clients involved in disputes over software and trade marks.

Prior to joining Powell Gilbert, Alex trained at Olswang and worked at Briffa.
