Clare has advised and acted for manufacturing, IT and pharmaceutical clients on a range of intellectual property issues (including patent law,

trade mark law, passing off and copyright). She has worked with clients to co-ordinate international patent litigation strategy and also has experience in providing freedom to operate advice and on enforcement strategies as well as in pharmaceutical regulatory matters. Clare spent time on secondment to the legal department of a major pharmaceutical company undertaking a range of IP work.
Clare also has experience in IT law and in anti-counterfeiting and lookalike matters for clients in the fast moving consumer goods industry.
Clare is the co-author of the

Australian chapter of Global Patent Litigation (published by Kluwers in 2006) and has contributed articles to various intellectual property publications.
Prior to joining Powell Gilbert, Clare was a solicitor in the IP department of Australian intellectual property firm Allens Arthur Robinson.
