An IP litigator with a strong technical background, Sidd advises clients across a broad range of technologies, especially in disputes having an international element and involving complex technical issues.

He has particular experience of multi-jurisdictional patent litigation in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices fields, often taking a role in the coordination of simultaneous litigation across Europe and North America.

As well as having represented clients in a number of patent trials - including some of the most high profile cases to come before the UK patents court in recent years - Sidd has experience of trade mark and copyright litigation, European Patent Office actions and the handling of patent actions in other jurisdictions. Sidd also advises on freedom to operate, regulatory issues and matters of confidential information.

Sidd joined Powell Gilbert in 2012.
