Avi has worked on a range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters. He has particularly extensive experience working on patent matters for life sciences clients and regularly conducts legal, technical and commercial research in this field. Avi also has experience in procuring, commercialising and enforcing trade marks and design rights.

Prior to joining Powell Gilbert, Avi worked as a lawyer and patent attorney in the US. Avi’s experience as a US patent attorney is particularly valuable in assisting with complex disputes involving parallel proceedings in overseas jurisdictions.
Avi is a member of IPSoc.
