Tim specialises in multi jurisdictional litigation, particularly in the patents field where he has experience in coordinating litigation taking place simultaneously across Europe, North America and beyond. He also advises clients on healthcare regulatory issues.
He is a solicitor advocate and has represented clients as an advocate in the UK and European Patent Offices, the English High Court, Court of Appeal, House of Lords and the European Court of Justice. Prior to founding Powell Gilbert LLP Tim was a partner for 10 years at Bristows.
Tim is a member of AIPPI and EPLAW. He lectures widely on aspects of IP law and is a member of the Intellectual Property Advisory Committee of the UK Bioindustry Association.
Recognised for his litigation expertise, particularly complex patent disputes with an international flavour. Also increasingly involved in related regulatory matters.
